Allergy and Asthma Clinic, LLC is the private practice of Dr. Michael J. Noonan, the original founder of Allergy Associates, PC of Portland, Oregon. After the founding of Allergy Associates with then partner Dr. James W. Baker in 1974, the clinic grew to six physicians and a total of 10 satellite locations including Vancouver and Longview in Washington State. In the early 1990's Dr. Noonan became interested in Allergy and Asthma research and used his special knowledge to conduct studies on a part-time basis. In 1998, Dr. Noonan retired from Allergy Associates to pursue Clinical Research full-time and private practice part-time. Dr. Noonan now heads the Allergy and Asthma Clinic, LLC located in downtown Portland across from the Providence Hospital. He is also the founder and primary investigator for the Allergy Associates Research Center. Dr. Noonan's research facility employs 10 research coordinators who involve hundreds of study subjects annually. Sponsoring institutions have recently included Alcon, Altana, AstraZeneca, Aventis, Centocor, Genentech, GlaxoSmithKline, Hoffmann LaRoche, IVAX, MedicNova, Novartis, Schering Plough Research Institute, and Sepracor. |
